The two installers were professional
The two installers were professional. There was damage to door molding - probably while moving furniture. Somehow they broke a wheel on the office chair. After moving a metal filing cabinet the second drawer won't open. Called store and was told "I don't know how they could break a filing cabinet". I purchased a new cabinet, and all I wanted was to have it installed. The cabinet was somehow damaged, but store personnel can't believe a filing cabinet can be damaged. Now I have to pay for installation plus the new cabinet. Bummer!

very bad experience in my life
I bought my hardwood and till the delivery no big issue.
The guy that installed the flooring that was supposed to be installed in 2 days took 14 days. He did not show up to the appointment and every day a different excuse, very unpolite and very dirty. He wasted a lot of hardwood totaling 4 boxes. On top of that, he did don't give me back my key and I need to call his boss it back, the worse experience ever.
DO NOT!!!!! Do business with LL flooring! I bought a whole house of engineered hardwood flooring that was installed over a year ago. I was happy with flooring until boards started splitting throughout house around 8 months after install. LL flooring states that the flooring was improperly installed and that I needed to contact my installer. My installer has left town, so I have had numerous flooring installers look at my flooring and they all came to same conclusion that flooring was defective, but LL flooring uses every excuse in book not to remedy situation. PLEASE, take your business elsewhere to avoid headaches and loosing thousands of dollars. Absolute worst experience EVER!!!!!

I have installed lumber from Bruce and cabin grade from lumber liquidators. I recently purchased 1000 sq ft of Bellawood Artisan and I am currently trying to install it. This is absolutely the worse product I have ever tried to install. Nine out of 10 boards are narrower on one end and it is a nightmare to install. This particular product is Kingston oak 3/4 X5 "
They did a rotten job with lame materials.
The LVP tile has weak edges that do not join well and lay flat even with a custom floor leveling that more than doubled the labor charges.
About 20% of the wood was either totally broken, had smashed edges, and or was cracked totally through from surface, around the edge and to the backside - not just a natural grain/flaw in the wood. Much of the damage might have been avoided if they sent more than one man to deliver over 3,200 lbs of material used for my job.
They inflated the materials, and the labor is based on the materials, by about 50% when calculating the change order for the floor leveling. I measured it myself and their own original estimate shows that somehow my rooms grew by nearly 50%. Their own people confirmed it and they are ignoring me on this issue.
They will claim to take care of the problems but they delay, reschedule, ignore, and hope you will go away.
I can't open or close my doors because they built the floors higher than the door sills.
Do Not Pay Them 100% Up Front!!!! Indeed for your own home, health, and well being, use some other flooring firm.

I passed up other opportunities for Labor Day savings to go with LL flooring only to regret it. Unprofessional, lazy, uncaring, with a sucks to be you attitude. I had my heart set on a particular floor. In home consultation was scheduled, after that nothing went right. I received an email stating that the estimate was received and someone from LL flooring would contact me with the estimate. I never received the call. Finally I received a call two weeks later, not to give me an estimate instead I was told that I couldn’t get the floor I waited weeks for. Terrible company.
What a great experience it was dealing with Peter Berens of the Staten Island store for lumber liquidators. He wasn’t just professional and answered all my questions, he made me feel like I had a friend who cared about the project I was Working on. Thanks Pete.💪🏻😎
This company is deceptive and has many addons.
This company is very deceptive and can't be trusted. I needed 300 feet of plank flooring for my den and bathroom. The plank was $1.99/ft with $1.99/ft installation. With additional transitional pieces I was led to believe the cost of this job would be about $1,300. The salesman told me there was a $850 job minimum, but said this would not apply because my job exceeded the $850 job minimum. I returned a week later to put in the order. The salesman said they charge $135 for delivery, charge of $175 to move furniture, charge $175 to remove and replace floor moulding and a $275 charge to uninstall and reinstall a toilet in the bathroom. Keep in mind, nowhere are these additional costs posted. I thought these additional charges were unreasonable so I said I can uninstall and reinstall the toilet, move furniture, remove floor moulding and pick up the planks myself.
When the salesman printed the bill, there was an $850 minimum installation charge. I expected a $600-$700 installation charge. When I questioned this he said it was not a minimum job charge but a minimum installation charge. So the salesman played a wordgame with me. I called corporate customer service and a rep said he was not aware of any minimum installation charges. When I emailed customer service the response said there was a minimum job charge that varies from state to state.
So somebody was deceptive. Note all the additional surprise charges that are not posted in the store. You can do better somewhere else.
I thought this was a reputable company
I bought hardwood flooring for my entire house.
I spent well over $6,000!
I received a letter from them a year later telling me that I have close to $400 in a refund coming to me.
I filled out the necessary forms & returned them...
That was 2 years ago and I have NOT received my refund YET!
And now, I can’t even get ahold of them!

Unlike the other poster my experience…
Unlike the other poster my experience with Lumber Liquidators (Now L&L Flooring) was nothing but positive.
We had L&L Flooring install a floor in a 12x12 home office. This room never had a floor just carpeting and when I pulled that out it was sub floor.
Their work came out better than expected and my wife works in that room everyday.. However our house is also not new and settled. They used both glue and a compressor staple gun to install the hardwood floor.
We like their work and will be going back again.
But everyone's experience's are different.
I always tell people to shop around. I did and found myself and my wife at L&L floor and never looked back
